Nails Care

Your nails form a very important part of your hands and they too need to be well taken care of. Well-kept hands, with neat, clean and healthy nails, are a pleasure to behold. On the other hand, dirty and poorly kept nails will make your hands look ugly, even though the latter are healthy and well cared for. In other words, we can say that for your hands to look beautiful, your nails need to be strong and healthy. Many people cares for their skin only and forgot their hands and nails but actually they are the main body parts of us.We must take care of them.
women wants to know about nails care tips.Beautiful, natural nails require care and proper manicuring. A shortish nail that is straight across the top with rounded edges is the current in style shape. Here are nail care tips for polishing your nails so they will look beautiful and stay looking fresh longer.
File nails when the white part of the nail tip has grown 1/4" from the pink part of the nail. Filing nails before the nail is 1//4" long can weaken the nail. Allowing the nail to grow to a length longer than the base pink nail length will be sure to make them break easily. Nail files from side to side would weaken nails. When filing, go from the corner to the center in one direction. Follow the groove on the side of your nail

DON'T file backwards and forwards as this can cause splits in the nails which become even worse if water penetrates after hand washing. Rather use a gentle one way stroking action with the file along with a little patience.
One of the simplest ways to fingernail care is through a well-planned and balanced diet. The right kind of foods added in your regular diet can easily bring a healthy glow to you fingernails and enhance your overall appearance. However, it is important to remember that nails are made of keratin (a hard protein), which enables the nails to protect your fingers and toes from injuries. Similar to hair and skin, negligence and poor diet may reflect in weak and brittle nails, leading to ugly looking hands.so nails care is  very important. While some nails benefit from not using polish, mine seem to love the stuff. If they are polished, I seem to notice them more and devote a little more attention to them.
They really seem to like that.Keep emery boards everywhere. The worse thing that can happen to pretty nails is a snag and your teeth.Plan ahead. Paint your nails about an hour before bedtime, leaving the messy polish on. When taking a shower the next morning, the polish will soften and peel off. Any stubborn polish still left on the skin can easily be removed by rubbing it with a soft towel. Polish not dry yet? In a rush? Use a cotton swab and nail polish remover to do a quick removal. DON'T file the corners of the nail as this can weaken them and make them more susceptible to breaking. File straight across in a way that produces a soft, oval shape. Pointed nails break easilly

Clean Nails:Be sure that nails are clean and dry, free of any oil or lotion, before applying polish. Remove any old polish from nails.
Basic Nail Care Tips
  • Wash hands with mild soap, using a nailbrush.
  • Soak the hands in warm water for a few minutes to soften the cuticles (the bits of skin at the bottom of the nails).
  • Very gently push back the cuticles if they are long and ragged.
  • Trim the nails to the same length, cutting off any snaggy or spiky bits.
  • File the ends of the nails to smooth them off.
  • If your hands are dry, apply some hand cream (it doesn't have to be the girly stuff that stinks of flowers, lads).
