Every Skin needs Sunscreen

Even though we know that every Skin needs Sunscreen, this important part of good skin care is often forgotten.  Because of the thinning of the ozone layer our skins need extra care and protection against harmful UV radiation.  The damage happens so slowly that we do not realize the amount of damage that is being done to our skins before it is too late.
It is widely known that exposure to UV radiation can cause skin damage.  Most people are oblivious to the damage that can occur while strolling, walking to and fro from their cars or by sitting at a window during the day in full sunlight.  Little bits of exposure ad up over the years and are the main causes of dark spots, skin cancer and wrinkles.

When deciding on a sunscreen it is very important to pick the correct sunscreen for different conditions and the following factors should be considered
  • The way sunscreens work
  • Hardworking out-in-the-sun sunscreen vs. everyday sunscreen
  • Using a moisturizer with sunscreen vs. using just a sunscreen
  • The UV-index and understanding it
  • Precautions and how to be safe in the sun
The Bottom Line of Sunscreen
You have cleansed and moisturized your skin – working hard to take care of it on a daily basis.  Do not undo all the good you have done by exposing it to radiation.
Make the applying of sunscreen part of your daily routine because every Skin needs Sunscreen.  Purchase a quality broad-spectrum sunscreen – and most importantly – apply it!
