Amy Winehouse''s dad ‘returning rehab donations after name registration crisis’

Amy Winehouse''s dad ‘returning rehab donations after name registration crisis’

Washington, Aug 21 : Amy Winehouse’s father is reportedly sending back the donations received for a rehabilitation clinic in memory of his late daughter, as the proposed name has already been registered by an opportunist.
Mitch had made an announcement last month that he wanted to set up a rehabilitation clinic ‘The Amy Winehouse Foundation’ to help young Brits struggling with drink and drug addictions.
The late singer’s father has had to return the donation cheques from well-wishers that cannot be banked as the name has already been registered as an official company.

“We all have to bombard the tabloids websites to put pressure on this d**k head who stole our foundation name,” Contactmusic quoted him as tweeting.
“Instead of concentrating on allocating funding I am having to send cheques back cos (because) we haven’t got (a) bank ac (account) in that name.
“Our solicitors are all over this, but it takes time. Meanwhile we can’t get on with (the) foundation,” he added. (ANI)
